Description
Rafael Amargo's shows infuse the purest essence of flamenco with other choreographic trends, creating beautiful contemporary dance. Described by the New York Times as "in a class by itself", Poet in New York is based on a poem by Federico García Lorca. A true multimedia extravaganza it evokes the time, place and culture in which Lorca was writing through stunning 1930s-inspired video and imagery.
